A few things to clarify before the game officially restarts:
You are all aware of the current situation, but I'd like to take this time to remind everyone of the rules for this RP. They're all in the first post - mandatory reading. First and foremost, all complaints about the game and other players come through me. You're all aware of my opinions on posting private matters on public forums. As has been done here, if any player should in the future drag these issues up in mass-membership communities, the result will be immediate withdrawal of that player's invitation to this RP, whether names are mentioned or not.
This is not an unreasonable request. There are less than ten active members in this roleplay; matters between players can be resolved quietly. There is absolutely no need to harrass, demean, or discourage the other players. If I see constant complaints about other players made public on public journals - even personal ones - I will withdraw that player's invitation.
Secondly, there is no minimum posting requirement for this rp. There is a reason for this. The players here are all adults, and responsibilities come before fandom RPing. In the past year, several of the players moved overseas, others entered graduate school, and others went without internet access for months for various reasons. A lull in play is understandable, whether the posting is delayed for days, weeks, or even months. Harrassing players to post is unacceptable, makes things less enjoyable for everyone, and will result in a withdrawal of that player's invitation. There are many RPs on the internet with minimum posting requirements, and players so concerned should move elsewhere. Characters on hiatus, unless their invitation has been withdrawn, are welcome to return at any time.
If a player should wish to move a thread along when another player involved is unable to post: in such cases the first player may ask that player what her character will say or do and briefly describe that action in the next post, then the thread can continue with the consent of the players concerned, or the first player can move on to a new thread. This could easily have been done earlier as well. No one is, or was, personally stalling the game.
The bottom line is that we're here to have fun. I shouldn't even have to say that. If I receive complaints about a particular player from over half the active - and some of the inactive - members, who is most definitely spoiling the fun for everyone, that player will be removed.
As mod, I apologize and take full responsibility for not doing it sooner.
